The Lake County Jail Ministry has launched a new after-care initiative for formerly incarcerated individuals, their families, and those impacted by the criminal justice system. The goal of Connections for Hope is to offer loving acceptance, practical advice and helpful connections. Assistance comes in many forms, including resume writing, resources for addiction recovery/detox and hygiene gift bags. Monthly meetings include music and powerful personal testimonies.

Connections for Hope brings hurting individuals the restorative power of forgiveness and reconciliation as taught by Jesus Christ. We recognize that formerly incarcerated  individuals have paid the price of their crimes and deserve the chance to be fully restored to their communities. We coordinate healthy, supportive relationships that inspire hope for a better life and decrease recidivism.

Lake County Jail Ministry is committed to helping formerly incarcerated individuals set achievable goals toward healthy family and community life. Our goal is to bring hope to any individual whose life has been interrupted by crime and  incarceration.

Connections for Hope hosts meetings each month at Painesville Baptist Church, 140 Park Rd Ext. Painesville, Ohio.
